Go Salida exists because most travel sites for our valley were written by people who don't live in it. They miss the small things — the brewery patio that's better at 4 pm than 7, the side road off Monarch Pass that opens onto the whole Sawatch range, the truth about which hot spring is worth the drive on a Saturday.

We're locals. We raft, ski, hike, fish, and yes, mostly drink coffee on F Street. This site is the guide we wished existed when our friends asked us "what should I do in Salida?"
